Egalitarianism & Complementarianism Part 1 Egalitarianism & Complementarianism - Part 1 - In part one we first noted the different views are not about the value of women but instead about the roles of women.  Then, we considered several of the biblical texts that egalitarianism points to support their views.  Following that we turned to some of the women in the Bible who they would consider to be women in leadership. 

Egalitarianism & Complementarianism Part 2 Egalitarianism & Complementarianism - Part 2 - In part two we began by consider the struggle to accept submission to God or others.  Yet, we saw how even within the Trinity the Bible pictures acts of submission.  In Scripture we clearly see calls for submission in societal, church, and family settings.  Then, we looked at what the Bible teaches about both creation order and headship. 

Egalitarianism & Complementarianism Part 3 Egalitarianism & Complementarianism - Part 3 - In part three we continued our look at texts that supported the complementarian view.  We considered how the Bible connects headship in the family with headship in the church.  We looked at Genesis 2:18 and how "fit for" means like opposite him.  We followed this up with looking at those Jesus had put in leadership positions and what we can learn from that.
